캠프 코리아 2015: 한국의 색 

 

C3 코리언 캐내디언 단체에서는 제10회 캠프코리아를 스쿠아미시에 위치한 캠프 서밋에서 8월 27일 부터 30일까지 계최할 예정이다.

10 주년을 기념하는 의미에서 올해 캠프 코리아의 테마는 “한국의 색” 이다. 나릇한 오후에 스치는 봄바람에서 소복한 흰눈으로 덥힌 상쾌한 겨울 아침까지, 특생있는 한국의 4계절들의 색채들은 한국의 신념과 가치에 많은 영향을 주었다.

 

흰색, 검정색, 파란색, 노란색 그리고 빨간색으로 이루어진 오방색의 기원을 알아보고자 하며 이가 어떻게 한국의 문화, 전통 그리고 역사를 대변하는지 알아보고자 한다.

스쿠아미시의 대자연 속에 위치한 캠프 서밋에서 참가자들은 한국의 역사, 문화 그리고 놀이를 배울 뿐 아니라 새로운 친구를 만나거나 작년에 사귀었던 친구들을 다시 만날 수 있는 좋은 기회이다.

캠프 코리아는 100% 자원봉사자들을 통하여 운명된다. 캠프에 앞서 준비 과정으로 카운셀러들은 7주 동안 함께 모여서 캠프 프로그램 구상 및 트레이닝을 하게 된다. 

 

캠프 코리아는 7세에서 12세까지 어린이들은 대상으로 하는 교육 캠프이며 한국 문화와 한국어를 자연스럽게 접할 수 있다. 예비 카운셀러 (CIT) 프로그램은 장래에 캠프 카운샐러가 되고자 하는 13-16세의 청소년을 위한 과정이다. 캠프 체험은 어린이들로 하여금 리더십, 협동심 그리고 자신감을 향상시키는데 도움을 준다.

CAMP KOREA 2015: “Colours of Korea” (Register through this link today:

The C3 Korean Canada Society announces the 10th annual C3 Camp Korea at Camp Summit, Squamish from August 27 to 30, 2015. In celebration of its 10th milestone, theme of this year’s camp is “Colours of Korea”. As distinctive as colours in each of the seasons, from the lively flowers that embellish the breezy spring afternoons to snow covered crisp cold winter mornings, these natural and traditional colours have shaped the essence of Korean values and beliefs. We will discover how “obangsaek” which consists of 5 colours white, black, blue, yellow and red reflects on the Korean culture, traditions and its history.
Set in the beautiful outdoors of Camp Summit in Squamish, campers will have the best of all worlds as they take a historical journey of Korea, experience arts and culture, play in the outdoors, and meet new and old friends.

Organization and operation of Camp Korea relies 100% upon our dedicated and hardworking volunteers. In order to prepare to deliver campers of the best experience, counsellors attend the training meetings leading up to the camp for 7 weeks.
Camp Korea is an educational camp for children ages 7 to 12 and is focused on Korean culture and language. We also provide a Counsellor-In-Training (CIT) program for youth ages 13 to 16 who are interested in becoming camp counsellors in the future. The camping experience includes activities designed to help children build leadership, teamwork and confidence in a picturesque environment.
