Salesman: Yes it does.

세일즈맨: 네.

Roger: I looked but I couldn’t find a large.

로저: 찾아봤는데 큰 사이즈가 없던걸요.

Salesman: (searching the shelf) I’m sorry. I guess we’re out of large.

세일즈맨: (선반을 찾아보며) 죄송해요. 큰 사이즈가 다 팔렸나보네요.

Roger: Can I order one?

로저: 하나 주문할 수 있을까요?

Salesman: We’ll be getting more in next week.

세일즈맨: 다음 주면 더 들어올 겁니다.

Roger: Would you hold a size large for me?

로저: 저를 위해서 큰 사이즈 하나 따로 놔두어주실래요?

Salesman: Sure. I’ll just need a telephone number to call you when they come in.

세일즈맨: 물론이죠. 전화번호 하나 주시면 물건 들어오는대로 전화해드릴게요.

Roger: Thank you.

로저: 고맙습니다.

Salesman: Here’s a card for you to write your phone number on.

* (one) is out of (something): ~가 다 떨어지다

“We’re out of ice. We have to buy more.” (얼음이 다 떨어졌어요. 더 사야겠어요.)

* hold (something) for (someone): ~를 위해 ~를 맡아두다
