Participants wanted for a study: Korean learners of English
The Department of Linguistics at McGill University is seeking native speakers of Korean to participate in a study called ‘Learning and using English words; a study on Korean speakers.’ They must be either:
(1) aged 30 or older and must have lived in Canada for 10 years or more.
(2) aged 18 or older and must have lived in Canada for 5 years or less.
You will be required to (i) listen to English words and write down what you heard and (ii) memorize objects presented on a screen and name the objects in English. The study takes approximately 30-40 minutes to complete and will take place on-line. All participants will be compensated with $12.00 for their time. This research is being conducted by Olivia Hyun, an undergraduate honours Linguistics student at McGill University, under the supervision of Prof. Heather Goad from the Department of Linguistics.
