Ricky has studied financial analysis for over 5 years at the Canadian Securities Institute as well as in the Chartered Financial Analyst program. He spent 2 years working in investment research and 2 years working as a financial planner. He has over 7 years of experience in teaching ESL students in the TOEFL and IELTS programs, in both a classroom and 1-on-1 settings.

 

Ricky has found success in coaching and instructing students in the TOEFL and IELTS exams by targeting the required skills for each section (reading, listening, speaking, and writing) in a systematic way, while also encouraging the advancement of the student's overall English skills. He has a thorough understanding of the TOEFL/ IELTS exams and the scoring criteria, and has helped many students achieve their desired exam scores.
