많은 사이언스를 전공하려는 한국 학생들은 의대로 목표로 지원합니다. 하지만 막상 대학교에 들어가서는 여러 가지이유로 인해 이 꿈을 접게 됩니다. 이 중에 가장 큰 이유는 아마 정보력 부족, 고등학교에서부터 못한 미비한 준비, 그리고 멘토 십의 부족이 아닌가 싶습니다. 현재 밴쿠버는 한국 이민 사회보다 턱없이 한국 의사들이 부족한 상황입니다. 저희는 현재 의대 학생과 레지던트 의사들이 자신들의 경험을 담아 고등학교부터 의대 진학을 준비할 수 있도록 도와드립니다. 한국어 및 영어 상담. Who we are:

We are UBC resident physicians who are committed to helping students achieve their professional goals. We have firsthand experience in being ‘non-traditional’ applicants for medical school and understand the hardships and stresses that are inherent to the application process. We believe that by sharing our experiences in premed, medical school, and residency, we can help students pave their first steps on the road to medical school.

Our strengths:

• Current resident physicians with non-traditional backgrounds

• Extensive experience in research and graduate school

• More than 10 years of leadership and volunteering in diverse settings

• Commitment to education and career consultations

Our services:

• 1-on-1 in-person consultation sessions

• Ongoing advice for premed admissions

• Portfolio review (ie. curriculum vitae)

Fees: $100 for 1 hour consultation session.
