On behalf of the Senate of Canada, I am pleased to extend my sincere greetings to all the guests attending HeeJoo Chung’s live concert tonight held at the Port Moody Inlet Theatre.

HeeJoo Chung spent her high school years in British Columbia before she went to Korea to pursue her singing career where she finished in the top six on the highly competitive and popular Korean TV program, “Star Audition: The Great Rebirth,” in 2010. Tonight’s performance will be a special and memorable one for the audience as they are captivated and drawn in by HeeJoo Chung’s beautiful voice and musical talent.

I congratulate HeeJoo Chung on the release of her first album and live concert. I commend her dedication to pursing her dream and the success that she has achieved through her passion for

music. I am certain that HeeJoo Chung and accompanying musicians will provide a unique and sensational experience for all in attendance.

Hello, I’m a K-POP singer HeeJoo Chung.

After spending most of my teenage years in Vancouver, I went back to Korea with my dream to become a professional singer. I made to Top 6 on one of the most famous Korean TV audition shows in 2010, and I just released my first solo album called “HEEJOO” last year. It is very exciting to come back home after 6 years of my musical journey and I can’t wait to sing in front of you! I will see you all at Inlet Theatre in Port Moody on Feb.27. 7pm
