보통 쇠줄로 된 통기타와는 달리

클래식 기타는 나일론줄로 되어 있어서

낭밤적인 음향과 핑거링과

매우 잘 어우러진다. 

보사노바, 재즈, 클래식, 라틴 느낌의 연주와 

잘 조화가 되며, 보통 기타를 높게 세워서 

Foot Stool 발판을 놓거나

무릎을 포개서 연주 하기도 한다.

Guirtarist  Fernando Aguiree 

Fernando graduated from the University of British Columbia (UBC) with a Bachelor of Music degree in classical guitar performance (2008) and a Bachelor of Education degree (2010). His musical education began in Mexico where he studied classical and flamenco guitar with the prestigious maestro Fernando Martinez Peralta. Fernando studied classical guitar with Stephen Boswell completing the Capilano College Bachelor of Music transfer program, where he obtained the first place at the annual Music Competition in 2005. At UBC he studied under the guidance of Michael Strutt were he was invited by to perform in a special feature concert of the UBC String Department at the Chan Shun Concert Hall.

Fernando has taken numerous master classes in classical and flamenco genres with renowned guitarists Oscar Herrero (San Lorenzo del Escorial, Spain, 2011), Jeffrey McFadden and Andrew Zohn (UBC, 2007), Rafael Andujar (Centro Internacional de las Artes, Mexico City, 1997) and Antonio Arnal (Villa de Panticosa, Spain 

1995). Fernando has performed extensively as a soloist and in a duo with his twin brother Alonso Aguirre. Performances include the “Concierto de Aranjuez” by Joaquin Rodrigo with the Ambleside Orchestra in 2015.

Fernando plays flamenco guitars handcrafted by Jeff Sigurdson , Salvador Castillo , and Pedro de Miguel
